Michael J. Costello

Michael J. Costello passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Michael L. Costello; his beloved partner of 55 years, Ann Dasch; as well as his parents, Gaetano and Grace Costello, and siblings.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his devoted daughter, Linda Costello Hayslip; and loving family; Daniel (Liz) Hayslip, Melissa (Anthony) Marseglia, Amanda (Ronald) Robak, Shelly Costello Bonacci, Carrie Costello (Andy), Michele Costello, Christopher Costello, David (Daryl) Dasch, Laurie (Jon) Delvecchio, Marianne Dasch; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.

Mike proudly retired from AC Delco after a career of more than 40 years as a tool and die maker. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his earlier years. He was especially known for cooking his delicious homemade perch. He was a hard-working, good-natured man who appreciated the simple pleasures in life and took pride in caring for his family.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, concluding with a service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm.
