Nancy J. DeMetsenaere

Nancy J. DeMetsenaere, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

Nancy was born on February 9, 1942, in Mexico, NY to Lawrence and Lida (Huggins) Fuller. She devoted her life to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and strength touched all who knew her.

Nancy was predeceased by her sons, Carl and Eddie DeMetsenaere; her daughter, Jean Rosier; her parents, Lawrence and Lida Fuller; her sister, Rose Sickle; and her brother, Butch Fuller.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald DeMetsenaere; her son, John (Stephany) DeMetsenaere; her daughter-in-law, Suzy DeMetsenaere; her son-in-law, Richard Rosier; and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Genna, and Joseph DeMetsenaere, Christopher Rosier, and Linda (Jeff) DeLong.

Nancy was an avid baker who was especially known for her beautiful wedding cakes, holiday cakes and cookies, which brought joy to family and friends. She also enjoyed camping and treasured the time spent making memories with her loved ones.

Nancy will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, and the many memories she created with those she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Calling hours will be observed on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612. Services for Nancy to be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00AM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Nancy’s memory.
