Nancy passed away peacefully at her home on December 16, 2025, at the age of 61. Nancy spread joy and happiness with her smile and mischievous personality. Her vice grip-like hugs were legendary and a sign of pure love. Nancy displayed an exceptional level of empathy and caring for those around her when they needed it most. She was always delighted to sing “America” to everyone. She was our gift from God, and her everlasting gift was teaching her family and friends how to be unconditionally caring and accepting, for that, we are better people and forever grateful.

Nancy is predeceased by her father, Augie Tantalo, and survived by her mother, Elaine Tantalo. She is the beloved sister of Patricia (Ronald) Penepent, Peter (Julie) Tantalo, and Christina (Richard) Payton; the dear aunt of Parker, Makenna, and Madeline Payton, and Lydia, Elaine, and Adam Tantalo; and the loving godmother of Max Charleton. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Nancy.
