Raymond Chapman

Raymond G. Chapman passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, at the age of 87. He is survived by his sons, Keith Chapman and James (Nancy Gress) Chapman; his daughters, Carmen (Moe) Alaimo and Laura Chapman (Thomas Probst); his grandsons, Michael (Kelcie) Briganti and Austin Briganti; and his special friend of the past ten years, Gwen Nelson.

Raymond was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carmen Chapman; his sons, Michael Chapman and Guy Chapman; his parents, Elanor and Guy Chapman; his brother, Gary Chapman; and his cherished Labrador, Sonny.

An avid fisherman and hunter, Raymond had a deep passion for the outdoors and for his dogs, who were his constant companions. He surrounded himself with friends who shared his love of nature and adventure. Family was always at the center of his life, and he held a special closeness with his sister, Gaye Chapman; his brother, Jim Chapman; and his nephew, Gary Chapman and the Whal family.

Raymond’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived amid the beauty of nature. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held 4-7pm Tuesday December 30th, 2025 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. A funeral mass will be held 10:00am Wednesday December 31st, 2025 at St. Lawrence Church. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery 150 Middle Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467
