Richard J. Pratt

Richard J. Pratt passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marilyn Pratt, and his daughter, Jessica Babin.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Pratt; children, Richard Pratt III, Danielle (Aaron) Edwards, Michael (Keli) Nasso, and Josh Babin; sister, DeLisa (Jamie) Bell; brothers, Rob, David, and Dan, and their respective spouses; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Rick was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands and had a lifelong love of racing. He was an avid NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt holding a special place as his favorite driver. Rick also enjoyed fishing and, above all, spending time with family, especially gathering together for cookouts and good company.

Rick will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery. Those attending are asked to gather at the main entrance.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be announced at a later date.
