Samuel M. Lamendola

Samuel M. Lamendola, 72, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Angeline Lamendola.

Born on December 19, 1953, in Rochester, Samuel was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in all that he accomplished throughout his life. He retired from the United States Postal Service, where he made many lasting friendships and was respected by those who worked alongside him.

Samuel enjoyed spending his free time playing golf and cherished the simple pleasures of life. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, pride in his accomplishments, and the lasting friendships he made throughout his life.

Samuel is survived by his lifelong companion, Roseanne; stepdaughter, Melissa; many loving cousins and lifelong friends; and his beloved and devoted dog, Gypsy, who was a cherished part of his life.

Family and friends may call on Friday, August 21st, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14612.

We would like to commend the entire staff of the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Facility for taking such excellent care of Sam in his last days.

Samuel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
