With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life lived in faith, we announce the passing of Sherryl Scott, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother.
Sherryl was the heart of her family—a woman whose life was anchored in unwavering faith, quiet strength, and boundless love. A devoted wife, she built a home filled with warmth, compassion, and enduring partnership. As a mother, she guided with wisdom, patience, and grace, instilling in her children the values of kindness, integrity, and devotion.
Her legacy continued to grow through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. She found immense joy in family gatherings, shared laughter, and the simple blessings of time spent together. Her prayers were constant, her faith steadfast, and her love unconditional.
Sherryl lived her life as a testament to her beliefs—serving others, offering comfort in times of need, and extending kindness to all who crossed her path. Her presence was a source of peace and strength.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George; her three children: Mike and Karen Scott, Karen and John Clementi, and Laura Youmans; her grandchildren: Brandy and Dan Bowles, Chad Joannis, Ryan and Meg Scott, Joshua Clementi, and Jared and Sarah Scott; and her great-grandchildren: Jackson, Thomas, Peyton, Madison and Molly. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and embraced in eternal rest.
Sherryl Scott leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward with love, faith, and gratitude.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, with calling hours from 4-6pm and a service to follow at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home. The burial services will be private for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to Wilmot Cancer Center for Blood Cancer Research where Sherryl was taken care of for the last three years.
