With deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing away of Sheryl (Alianell) Bedford “Sheri,” who left this world on February 12th, 2026. Sheri was welcomed to Heaven by her Mother, Eva (Zeluff) Alianell; brother, Robert Alianell.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Jason Bedford, James Bedford, Becki (Nicholas) Alman; grandchildren, Alyssa and Jason Jr. Bedford, Olivia, Vivian, Violet, Maverick Alman. Her father, John Alianell. Sheri was above all else a selfless devoted mother and grandmother.

Sheri was a lifelong hometown girl from Hilton, NY where she built a life rooted in faith, loyalty and deep love for family and country. She stood behind her children in all they did and reminded them that happiness is often found in the simplest moments. Above all else, Sheri was a joyful and devoted mother whose greatest purpose was caring for her family. She created cherished memories through simple but meaningful adventures – spontaneous ice cream trips to Niagara Falls, camping trips to the Adirondacks, laughter-filled afternoons, and traditions that will live on for generations. Her daughter Becki now carries that spirit forward from her home in Tampa creating magical memories of her own with trips to Walt Disney World continuing the legacy of joy, motherhood, and family adventure that Sheri began.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the best way to honor Sheri is to do what she always did – hold your children close, hug your grandchildren tight, and let your friends know how much they mean to you.
