Suzanne A. Kennedy

Suzanne A. Kennedy passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the age of 67.

She was predeceased by her parents, Neil and Neoma Kennedy, and her brother, Randy.

Suzanne is survived by her loving children, Denise (Scott), Michele (Bob), Jennifer, Sarah (Matt), Adam (Becky), Keith, Elise, and Elena; her 18 cherished grandchildren; cousins and several nieces and nephews; David Wagner and Bill Ericson; her chosen sister, Carol Indiano; and her loving cats and beloved dog, Neena.

Suzanne’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children deeply and absolutely adored her grandchildren, who meant everything to her. She was, in every sense, the heart of her family and the epitome of a loving mother and grandmother. Her warmth, devotion, and unmistakable personality will be remembered by all who knew her.

She had a special love for gardening and especially enjoyed the holidays, with Halloween and Christmas holding a particular place in her heart. Suzanne also truly loved her work as a bus driver. She became well known for embracing Halloween to the fullest, dressing as a witch while driving her bus and perfecting a memorable witch’s laugh that brought smiles and laughter to those around her. It was just one of the many ways she brought fun, spirit, and joy into everyday life.

Suzanne will be remembered for the love she poured into her family, the happiness she found in simple traditions, and the many memories she created with those closest to her.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 3:00–7:00 PM at Farrell Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14617.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Farrell Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. Inurnment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Suzanne’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Lung Association.
