Thomas was born on October 12, 1937 in Rochester, NY and died May 7, 2026 in Greece, NY. Predeceased by parents Charles and Evelyn (Fogarty) Wiesner and sister, Dolores (August - deceased) DeConinck. Thomas is survived by 4 sisters and one brother, Marie, Helen, John (Eva - deceased), Joan, and Annette Wiesner; 7 nieces and nephews, James, Marlene, Theresa, and Daniel DeConinck and Nathaniel, Emilie, and Jocelyn Wiesner; 13 grandnieces and grandnephews; 4 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews; and many cousins.
Thomas was a 1955 honors graduate of The Aquinas Institute. He attended Assumption College in Windsor, Canada. Thomas spent his youth and high school years on the family fruit farm on Maiden Lane, Greece, NY. His love for nature and animals developed during those years continued throughout his life giving him much pleasure and comfort.
Thomas served honorably as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963.
Mass to be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist (Greece) with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. There will be no prior calling hours.
