William Durfey

Rochester: October 15, 2014, age 96. Predeceased by his wife, Frances and sister, Margaret. Survived by his daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Teixeira of NC and Nancy (Gary) Schneider; brother-in-law, Carl Miller; grandchildren, Michael Teixeira, Laurie (William) Torri, Jennifer and Scott Schneider; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah and Gabriella Torri. He was a longtime New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.



In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday October 19th from 1-5 PM at the home of Gary and Nancy Schneider. The family would like to thank Crimson Ridge Meadows and more recently the Baird Nursing Home and Hospice of Rochester for their loving care, they are true angels. Friends wishing may contribute to Lifetime Care Hospice in his memory.
